Want to start 2017 by getting out of your comfort zone?
Register for the CrossFit Open! Join fellow athletes in one of the largest CrossFit community events in this five-week long competition, beginning on February 23rd.
Each of the five weeks will have a new workout to master. They’re released each Thursday of the competition and you have four days to complete the workout. Two versions will be available to participants — Rx’d and Scaled. Rx’d, or prescribed, workouts serve as challenges to the most expert CrossFit athletes, while the Scaled options provide alternatives to those who have less CrossFit experience. These workouts will push you to conquer new skills or perfect the skills you’ve already developed. If you want to check out some of the workouts from last year, click here.
The Open is the first stage in a set of three events, preceding Regionals and the CrossFit Games. In 2016, over 324,000 athletes worldwide took part in the Open. Participants ranged in age from 14 to 83, so the competition is welcome to all levels! Keep in mind that registration opens on January 12th.
